Welcome to Jupiter Tequesta

Sought-after neighborhoods that are a boater’s paradise

With streets full of lavish homes and stunning views, this pair of highly sought-after neighborhoods is the dreamy ideal of coastal living. Though there is much to enjoy on dry land, the spotlight here rests firmly on the water, and with myriad ways to enjoy the ocean, Jupiter and Tequesta are a boater’s paradise!

The history of these neighborhoods is long and deep. Fort Jupiter was built in 1838, but the most iconic place in Jupiter is the lighthouse. It was constructed in the 1860s and has remained lit, aside from a brief dark period during the Civil War, for over a century. The neighborhoods of Jupiter and Tequesta were developed throughout the 20th Century and have grown into serene areas full of history.

A mix of single-family homes, gorgeous mansions, waterfront estates, and luxury condos, Jupiter and Tequesta have something for everyone when it comes to homes. Gorgeous new constructions dot the streets alongside charming bungalows, all within minutes from the water.

What to Love

  • Boater’s paradise
  • Collection of incredible golf courses
  • Thriving downtown area full of shops and restaurants

Local Lifestyle

Jupiter and Tequesta have a more suburban feel than the more southern Palm Beach neighborhoods. They are walkable, bikeable, and close to the water, attracting residents who love being active. The atmosphere here is affluent, yet the people are down-to-earth. The neighborhoods are full of a mixture of young families, retirees, and professionals.

Dining, Entertainment & Shopping

Close to Jupiter Inlet is a commercial area that is the unofficial “downtown” area of Jupiter. There is incredible shopping and dining up and down the coast, but the heart of dining and shopping is nestled against the Loxahatchee River.

Downtown, you’ll find a bevy of incredible restaurants. U-Tiki is a waterfront restaurant that has iconic views of the lighthouse as well as fresh seafood and a delightful cocktail menu. At Square Grouper Tiki Bar, locals and visitors alike gather to enjoy nightly live music and sweeping views. Guanabanas is another live music paradise that has a tropical menu and a lush atmosphere. Dining options await at 1000 North, which is famously known as Michael Jordan’s restaurant. But whether you choose the dining room, lounge, or terrace, you can expect premium service and mouth-watering menu items. Evo Italian is a delicious spot north of the inlet, and to the south, diners will find the innovative menu and refined wine list of Coolinary Cafe.

Shopping at Harbourside Place is varied and luxurious. Browse the best in men’s fashion at John Craig Clothier, book a personal styling appointment, or browse the latest women’s trends at Lola Dré. Whether you’re looking for a new art piece, furniture, or even spa services, there is something for you at Harbourside.

Things to Do

Many Jupiter restaurants have nightly live music; it’s just a matter of picking the view and the cuisine you want to enjoy alongside the entertainment. If you’re looking for things to do before dinner, then take a look outside because Jupiter and Tequesta have a high concentration of some of the best golf courses in the country and access to every water activity you could want.

Starting at Jupiter Inlet, visit Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse. This historic building has incredible views of the ocean and Palm Beach from the top and a charming museum and gift shop at its base. Make your way to DuBois Park, where locals bask in the sun on the public beach or splash in the guarded swimming area, launch kayaks and paddleboards into the water, and make use of the grilling areas. From the launch point at DuBois Park, kayakers can explore the extensive waterways of Jupiter Waterway Trail.

Jupiter and Tequesta’s golf courses are numerous and renowned. Some of the finest courses in the country sit within their borders, including Abacoa Golf Club, The Loxahatchee Club, Jonathan’s Landing Golf Club, Tequesta Country Club, and Turtle Creek Club.

Schools

Jupiter and Tequesta are served by The School District of Palm Beach as well as a number of wonderful private schools.
